Don't you just love Christmas?
I sure do.... As you already know...Christmas holds a special place in my heart. It was this faithful and wonderful season all those years back that i met my beloved baby sis. Lil did i know at that time the impact she would have on my life. Not many people know, but i did have a younger sister. She died of leukiema when she was 18 months old. She would have been 25 years old this year. She would have been Edric's Jie Jie. Now Edric's got a mui instead.
You must be thinking, ok, coincidence... I lose a sister but gain another in Daphne. Well, She has a story of her own as well. As you know, Daphne is the oldest, but before her parents had her... her mum miscarried a baby boy who was suppose to be Daphne's older brother. Now here is the kinky part, her parents actually had a name for the boy..... He was to be called Owen.
Talk about a match make in heaven.... Daph is always saying....
"I lost a brother and now I have you....While you lost a sister and now you have me. "
You know what.... I agree with her. :P
I guess me saying "Hi" to her that year statrted a whole new thing with us.
Christmas is all about memories for me. Happy, sad, emotional, stressful. joyful...memories.
